To mark International Women's Day, the Abhivyakti Welfare Society organized a special community drive tailored for women living in the Pratap Nagar slum area (Kacchi Basti), Jaipur.
Led by society President Sangeeta Gaur, the initiative aimed to bring joy, support, and essential supplies to underprivileged families while raising awareness and fostering community bonding.
Highlights of the Drive
Sports & Recreational Activities: To promote health and togetherness, engaging sports competitions were organized for local women, encouraging enthusiasm and active participation.
Essential Ration Distribution: Following the events, comprehensive essential ration kits were distributed. These kits included daily kitchen necessities such as chili powder, turmeric, cumin, mustard seeds, gram flour (besan), rice, oil, tea leaves, sugar, soap, lentils, flour (aata), potatoes, and onions.
Community Engagement: Direct interactions were held with local families to understand their daily challenges and discuss ongoing social welfare efforts.
